12:46 am - Last-Minute Lack of Roommate
My roommate moved to Pennsylvania at the last minute, and her parents have (obviously) decided not to let her go to the Governor's School. I know there's a waiting list, but are they still admitting people this late? Will I have a roommate at all?

Does anyone know how this works?

silly question, but what size sheets do the beds take? i just got an extra-long twin set because i assumed the dorms would have college-length matresses. not super important, just curious. and do you guys recommend bringing a mini-fridge? im trying to work with my roomate on what to bring. and any advice about the school/teachers/anything would be great.

Not to be too antsy, but I had a few questions about scheduling:

1. Do they send out schedules before school starts?
2. If so, is it already too late to drop/add a class?
3. I thought that the school was on block scheduling, but I'm not sure (and even if I was, I don't know how block scheduling works). I have a pretty full schedule as it is, but I would really prefer to take AP Cal next year. I didn't sign up for it because I didn't want to be overwhelmed. I was mainly just wondering if some classes are only semester classes (like maybe french or computer tech?) and how many periods there are. I wanted a free period in my schedule somewhere, but I don't know if I already have too many classes for that. If I can take it/change it, that'd be great. But also something I wanted to consider was that for those of you who did take calculus, what's the teacher like? If she's a bitch or not a good teacher, that's also a determining factor.

I know we already had orientation and class sign-ups and all, and they probably explained there, but they were throwing out so much info at once that I didn't completely understand. Plus the question about the teacher I wanted to ask some students. Thank you for the help, even though it's kinda stupid. I'm just too scared/nervous.

Since I think almost everybody recieved their room/suitemate assignments, I just thought I'd ask, who's on what floor?  And whom did everybody get for their room/suitemates.
Just being nosy.

I could probably dig up the answer to this somewhere in my house, but I'm lazy, so let me ask real fast-- what's the date of the first day of school for senior Govies this year?

Thanks
