hey guys,


I am applying for the dance area and i would like to know what to expect at the auddition. and in your opinion about the scale of hardness of the audition and just anything you can think of please i am begging you on my knees begging.

I'm sorry to report, but this community is kind of dead. As in, there hasn't been a post in almost a year. I am not a dancer, and I don't think very many have Livejournals. Don't get to nervous is the best thing I can tell you.

I'm an '04 alum in creative writing, but I auditioned in the sixth grade for the summer dance program. It was pretty intense. You definitely need to be strong in technique; I think they do mostly Vagonova. Flexibility and good pointe work are necessities, too. Also, emphasize that you are willing to be independent and away from home in the interview.
